We’re not saying you should never fly again. Travel broadens your horizons – literally – and it’s a great way to get to know yourself better. Travel also makes you a little more compassionate towards the world and all the people with whom you share this planet. Yet you don’t necessarily have to get on a plane for a great trip – these road trips through Europe prove it.
Round up some friends and load up the car to make a party of your road trip through Europe. Or even more fun: go with the camper.
1. Roadtrip Sweden
A road trip through Sweden should really be on your bucket list if you love nature. There are no less than 30 national parks in Sweden and there is a lot of peace and quiet. Because despite the fact that Sweden is about 11 times the size of the Netherlands, only 10 million people live there.
You can find very easy plotting a route because there are only a few main roads. For example, make a trip from Malmö, to Gothenburg and Stockholm and stop in between at beautiful places in nature. 3. Through the magically beautiful Alps

4. Europatour
Do you have a little longer and want to go to different countries in Europe? Then make it a real Europatour.

From there you drive to the Saxon Switzerland on the border with the Czech Republic. This is perhaps one of the most beautiful natural areas in Germany thanks to its unusual rock formations.

From there you drive to Berlin. This city remains fantastic, even if you’ve been there a few times already. The people, the nightlife, the Mauerpark, restaurants with the best vega(n) food and so we can continue.
If you want to go on afterwards? Then drive on to Mecklenburg-Vorpommern for beautiful nature, the Baltic Sea and towns like Rostock. Or stop on the way back in the Harz area.
