Eyebrow trends can change overnight just like that. Which is exactly what makes them so dangerous. Yet it seems we’re all too eager to make some changes to our eyebrows when a new trend comes along. Just look at the ’90s and you’ll see exactly what we mean. Although thicker eyebrows are totally hot and happening right now, there are many more great trends out there and that’s why we’re listing the popular eyebrow trends that we’ll be seeing everywhere in 2022.

In the past year alone, we have seen many different eyebrow trends. Not surprisingly, because like fashion, beauty trends from the past keep coming back. However, we have also learned a lot from the trends of the past, because everyone knows how difficult it is to let your eyebrows grow back.
However, there are still people who dare to change their eyebrows permanently and for those people we have a lot of admiration. We too were tempted for a moment when Bella Hadid reintroduced us to skinny brows last year. But as with clothing, one size does not fit all when it comes to eyebrows and that’s why we are listing the 10 most popular eyebrow trends of 2022.
1. Brow lamination
Surely the most popular brow trend of 2022 is brow lamination. We first saw this trend pop up last year with Dua Lipa and Gigi Hadid and the trend isn’t going anywhere in 2022. This semi-permanent treatment creates perfectly placed and brushed brows that last for months. So messing with eyebrow products is a thing of the past with this eyebrow trend. The treatment ensures that bent hairs are straightened so your eyebrows in the desired shape remain.
2. Natural eyebrows
As with the rest of our makeup, our eyebrows have to go too: the natural look. This eyebrow trend is incredibly popular on Instagram and already has over 900,000 posts on the search #naturalbrows. You create the trend by keeping the natural shape of your eyebrow, but taking good care of it.
3. Fluffy brows
Fluffy brows look a lot like natural brows, but are just a bit more styled. We saw the trend pop up on Billie Eilish back in 2021 and the trend is still a real go-to in 2022.
4. Feather brows
This eyebrow trend became incredibly big on TikTok last year. Not surprising if you ask us, because the brow trend looks very natural, but gives you the statement brows you want. You do this by using a spoolie to create definition and combing your brows outward to give them an airy look.
5. Bleached eyebrows
This iconic eyebrow trend is all the way back. The internet was in complete shock when we first saw this look on celebrities like Kim Kardashian, Lady Gaga and Lizzo, but the trend has definitely stayed with us. There’s even a hack going around now on TikTok that shows how to get the look of bleached eyebrows, without actually bleaching them.
6. Eyebrow Transplants
This is no ordinary eyebrow trend, but Chrissy Teigen piqued our interest in eyebrow transplants when she told her Instagram followers that she had done the procedure. She did this to avoid having to wear so much makeup to fill in her eyebrows. This eyebrow trend is definitely a big deal, so Chrissy gave the advice to avoid tweezing your eyebrows especially.
7. Straight brows
This classic style was incredibly loved by Audrey Hepburn, and Zendaya and Cara Delevigne show that the eyebrow trend will still be a big hit in 2022.
8. Colored eyebrows
Just like with the fashion colors for Spring 2022, we are going to see a lot of color in the beauty world as well. This also means that your eyebrows will have to go with it, because colored eyebrows are totally hot in 2022.
9. ’90s brows
Although this brow trend is not for everyone, Bella Hadid shows that the trend looks absolutely fabulous on her.
10. Fox brows
This eyebrow trend is fairly new, but definitely belongs in this top 10. Beauticians have been using this technique for years and TikTok users have picked up the style in the past month. They lengthen the tips of their brows with brow pencil to get exactly the shape we’ve seen on Kaia Gerber and Kendall Jenner.
